Kimberly Caspari, RN – Office Manager & Cosmetics Director

Kimberly Caspari, RN is the office manager and the director of cosmetics at Houston Dermatology Specialists. She has a lifelong passion for skincare and helping others look and feel their best. Her father is a dermatologist in her hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana, so skin care comes naturally to her. Her presence and knowledge will make you feel comfortable and confident with your treatment choices. With nearly 10 years of experience and extensive training in the cosmetic nursing industry, your results will solidify that you have made the right choice in choosing Houston Dermatology Specialists.

Education:

• Associates of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University
• Currently obtaining Master’s degree in Nursing at University of Texas at Arlington

Laura Perez, Assistant Office Manager

With a strong foundation in both patient care and administrative roles, Laura brings a wealth of experience to Houston Dermatology Specialists. Starting her career in the back office, she spent 2–3 years performing clinical tasks such as drawing blood and assisting patients. She later transitioned to the front desk and now specializes in insurance coordination.

Passionate about patient education, Laura takes pride in helping patients understand their insurance benefits and navigate their healthcare plans with confidence.

Outside of work, she is a dedicated mother of four who loves spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring new destinations.

Joshua Cornman, NRCMA, CDT, NRT – Lead Medical Assistant and Mohs Histotechnician

Born and raised in Jersey Village, Texas, Joshua brings a deep dedication to patient care and continuous learning. After earning his associate degrees in Medical Assisting and Radiology Technology in 2019, Joshua began working alongside Dr. Christopher Downing, gaining invaluable experience in clinical practice.

In 2023, Joshua expanded his expertise by training in Mohshistotechnology, further honing his skills in dermatological procedures. Currently, Joshua is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology at the University of Houston. With plans to apply to medical school after completing his degree, Joshua remains committed to advancing his medical knowledge and providing exceptional care to every patient.
